Clay Paky Fixtures Help Ballet Creole Celebrate a Milestone

Toronto-based contemporary dance company, Ballet Creole, marked its 25th anniversary with many events and performances, including their annual spring season at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Dance Theatre.  A.C.T Lighting, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Clay Paky fixtures in North America, helped lighting designer Brad Trenaman obtain a complement of Alpha Spot QWO 800s, which were not yet available from local rental houses.  Trenaman also deployed Clay Paky A.leda Wash K10 and K20 fixtures during the season.

Clay Paky Mythos takes pride of place in Classical Spectacular’s new rig

The UK’s most popular classical music show, Classical Spectacular, returned to the Royal Albert Hall (RAH) this year with a brand new rig designed by award-winning lighting designer Durham Marenghi. Featuring an array of Clay Paky fixtures, the Mythos took pride of place with Marenghi using just four of the super powerful fixtures to illuminate the RAH organ.

Clay Paky Scenius Gives New Looks

Telemiracle, the annual telethon in Saskatchewan, Canada that benefits the Kinsmen Foundation, celebrated its 40th anniversary with a 21-hour, commercial-free live broadcast on the province’s CTV affiliates.  This year lighting designer Linus MacDonald stepped up the show’s look with Clay Paky Scenius moving head spotlights.

Claypaky illuminates 50th anniversary of Linz Klangwolke

Lighting designer Björn Hermann lit up the Austrian sky with more than 100 Claypaky luminaires for the recent Linz Klangwolke, or ‘Cloud of Sound’, held along the banks of the Danube. The open-air multimedia event, a mix of music, performance and visual art, has been a highlight of the city’s annual calendar since 1979. The Klangwolke presents a different theme each year, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the 2016 edition was presented under the ‘River of Knowledge’ banner.
