Nick Gray of London based live performance design practice Renegade created an inventive lighting and visuals scheme for the highly acclaimed “Atomic Bomb” tour by a new international super-group led by David Byrne to honour the work of obscure Nigerian funk musician William Onyeabor.

Passion Conferences collegiate ministry held its annual gathering the first week of 2018, bringing together more than 32,000 students from 700 universities and 35 countries to three arenas. The conference, which has been active for over 20 years, consistently sets new standards for high-quality productions and this year was no exception. London-based creative technology expert Realtime Environment Systems Ltd (RES) has provided the know-how for a spectacular visual event to mark one year since the Sochi Winter Olympics. The ambitious event at Sochi's beautiful Ice Palace featured a dramatic ice show and was staged by Russian TV company Channel One.

Formed in London in the late 1970s, Spandau Ballet are an English band, part of the ‘new wave’ of  UK pop inspired by the New Romantic movement, who became one of the most successful groups to emerge during this era. Their debut single "To Cut a Long Story Short", which reached No. 5 in the UK in 1980, was the first of ten UK Top 10 hits, including a No. 1 single "True", a No. 2 single "Gold", and two No. 3 singles: "Chant No. 1" and "Only When You Leave". The band split in 1990 and reunited in 2009.

Official technical supplier for the event [LITE]COM supplied the extensive package of Clay Paky, Robe, Philips and Aquabeam fixtures with partners AED Distribution and Woodlite. Working with Eurovision’s technical and creative teams, lighting designer Jönsson arranged the Scenius above the stage on straight truss. From here the fixtures worked with the Mythos, Sharpy and Sharpy Wash 330S to complement the ‘infinity’-style perspective of Frida Arvidsson and Viktor Brattström’s bold set design. The NAB Show, the annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all platforms, has announced that Ray Kurzweil, one of the 21st century's most revolutionary thinkers, will headline a session entitled "The Acceleration of Technology in the 21st Century: the Impact on Media, Communications, and Society." A discussion with Donald Marinelli, Executive Producer of Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center, will follow. The 2010 NAB Show takes place April 10-15, in Las Vegas.

After a break of one year, it was business as usual back at Worthy Farm site for this year’s Glastonbury Festival.  RG Jones once again turned to the tried and trusted Martin Audio W8 Longbow system, which again dominated the Pyramid Stage

Following a triumphant UK and European arena tour in 2012, Live Nation and SJM Concerts announced that the ground-breaking tour of Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds would return for the sixth and final time in late 2014, and RG Jones Sound Engineering were once again on duty.

RG Jones Sound Engineering returned to Worthy Farm following its fallow year to deploy Martin Audio systems across four major stages of the Glastonbury Festival. While Martin Audio’s premiere sound system, MLA, once again graced the Pyramid main stage as well as West Holts and the Genosys stage of Block9, Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision Longbow (WPL) made its festival debut on the stunning new IICON stage featuring an immersive 6.1 channel surround sound system designed by Simon Honywill.

For both shows — respectively Die größten Schweizer Talente 2016 (DGST) and Hello Again — the lighting design was entrusted to Lutz Hugo Kleine-Herzbruch, managing director of Essen-based rgb gmbh.
