Riedel Communications announced in December it provided a fully integrated communications and commentary solution for the 15th National Games of China, supporting 56 competition venues and four International Broadcast Centers (IBCs) across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Over the 30-day event, the system operated without interruption, enabling seamless coordination for 56 broadcasting teams and 39 ultra-high-definition productions.

Atomos Releases Ninja TX GO/Ninja TX ProRes RAW & Camera Control Update for Canon EOS R6 Mk III Camera
Atomos is excited to announce the immediate availability of a new firmware update for its Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX monitor-recorders, unlocking ProRes RAW recording from the Canon EOS R6 hybrid mirrorless camera.
Firmware update 12.2.1 unlocks the full potential of the Canon EOS R6 Mark III with pristine ProRes RAW recording. Ninja TX supports a maximum video resolution of 6960 x 3672 up to 30P, and 4320 x 2278 up to 60P. Ninja TX GO has a maximum resolution of 4320 x 2278 up to 60P. Furthermore, both Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX offer camera control of the EOS R6 Mk III over USB-C.

Broadcast Solutions Group, a leading system integrator and provider of innovative solutions for the broadcast and media industry, has announced the acquisition of PMT Professional Motion Technology GmbH. As part of this acquisition, Broadcast Solutions Group will fully merge Egripment Deutschland GmbH (part of the group since September 2025) with PMT. Going forward, both companies will jointly operate under the name PMT Professional Motion Technology GmbH.
The Egripment brand will remain an integral part of the new, strengthened group through its Dutch headquarters, rental operations and the manufacture of camera support equipment.
