The Collaborative Technology Services (CTS) unit at Iowa State University provides on-location video production, recording, conferencing and streaming services for departments, colleges, research centers and administrative units across the institution’s 1900-acre campus. When group’s projects began to outgrow the capabilities of its original equipment, it purchased Z-HD5500 studio and field production cameras from Hitachi Kokusai Electric America, Ltd. (Hitachi Kokusai) to achieve the ease of setup, consistent performance and visual quality they needed.

Clear-Com® is pleased to announce what is believed to be its northernmost installation in the world, at the Andøya Space Center (ASC) located two degrees north of the Arctic Circle in northern Norway, and a separate rocket launch site several hundred kilometers away at Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard. The home of the nationally syndicated World Cafe music show, audio sessions and more are now recorded via a SSL S500 control surface coupled to a 256 path T25 Processor Engine as part of the station’s mission to further connect artists to audiences.
Twenty years ago, German public broadcaster ZDF broadcast the Sportsman of the Year award for the first time. To mark the event's 20th anniversary, the station raised the number of cameras capturing the event to ten. One of them was the Robycam Compact, which was used for the first time as a cable camera system in the Kurhaus Baden-Baden to "fly" three-dimensionally through the Bénazetsaal. Robycam Compact is a smaller version of the Robycam 3D cable camera system, which is only half as heavy and designed for smaller venues. Just as its big brother, the Robycam Compact moves freely in the vertical and horizontal in venues to produce spectacular images from all angles and heights unique in the broadcast business.
