TVN opens 3D audio studio in Hannover, Germany

To produce and continue to develop this, the TVN Group has established a 3D audio studio at its headquarters in Hannover, Germany. The studio was presented to great public interest.

Additionally to increasingly improving image quality, TV channels and film producers want to offer their viewers a corresponding sound experience. To produce and continue to develop this, the TVN Group has established a 3D audio studio at its headquarters in Hannover, Germany. The studio was presented to great public interest.

“We are very pleased with the great resonance,” comments TVN’s Managing Director Frank Hähnel. “The sound experience perfectly matches our current 4K/UHD productions’ high image quality. With this studio, we are closing a production gap in Northern Germany and can participate in the further development of 3D audio.” The TVN 3D audio studio is a spacious sound studio for music, film and speech. It is immersively audio capable up to 5.1.4. Various loudspeaker configurations (Neumann) are pre-installed – including Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D. Pro Tools and Nuendo are available as software. Additionally to an extensive plug-in and sound library, the studio features outboard devices such as compressors, Lexicon Hall and Delays. The studio complex also includes a connected Dubbing cabin for two speakers and a TV studio.
