Sony HDC-3500 becomes latest addition to ES Broadcast Hire’s UHD fleet
Announced at IBC 2018, the Sony HDC-3500 offers users the world’s first 2/3-inch 4K global shutter three-CMOS sensor system, which is designed to eliminate banding noise and the ‘jelly’ effect of rolling shutter cameras. The camera offers superb image quality with high sensitivity, low noise and high dynamic range, as well as IP and 12G-SDI capabilities.
“We always strive to respond proactively where we identify there is demand for new technology, and we are very confident the HDC-3500 will prove to be an excellent and popular addition to our already expansive array of Sony UHD options,” said Andy Scott, General Manager of ES Broadcast Hire.
“The camera can be integrated seamlessly into Sony-based HD and UHD productions, ensuring consistency of colour and ‘look’ from shot to shot. It is also perfectly suited to the evolution of IP workflows and remote production.
“With this latest arrival strengthening further our existing fleet of Sony, Grass Valley and Panasonic channels, we are confident that we can deliver the perfect camera solution, whatever our clients’ production needs.”
The Sony HDC-3500 is available to hire now from any of ES Broadcast Hire’s offices. Interested parties should email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
