CatCore presents extensive XLR over CAT adapter systems

With its products, CatCore is responding to event technology developments, where network cables are now indispensible. Thanks to their standardised properties, the cables are not only excellently suited for mere network protocols but also for the transmission of DMX, intercom, analogue and digital audio formats – often across significantly longer cable distances than “real” network.

With their low price, worldwide availability, low weight and easy handling, considerable advantages arise over conventional cabling. CatCore enables a multitude of new application possibilities – for example raw cable installation in advance in exhibition booths or the use of existing routes in building installations.

CatCore developer Frederik Leiße comments: “For all components, we placed a special emphasis on practice-oriented versions and optimised handling – in combination with compact enclosures.” The stageboxes can thus be daisy-chained and are equipped with M10 thread and numerous mounting holes for screw mounting and wiring; the rack units are characterised by a minimum depth; all components are made from anodised aluminium and feature a permanent laser engraving marking.
Additionally to the purely XLR/CAT adapter systems, the portfolio also includes versatile patch panels for PA amps, which offer extensive connection possibilities and can be connected directly via CatCore.
