Ultra High Brightness 4K Projector Launched by Panasonic
The 240 Hz projector incorporates Panasonic’s unique pixel-shifting quad pixel drive technology and enables flexible projection by supporting existing optional lenses and advanced image-adjustment capabilities.
The need for custom mounting-frames has been eliminated with frame-free stacking or eye-bolt rigging, reducing overall weight for transportation and easy installation of temporary multi-projection mapping projects.
A laser light source and an original heat-resistant phosphor wheel design maintain consistent image quality, colour and brightness, particularly useful when using multiple projectors.
The RQ32K joins two high-brightness laser projectors with 31,000 lumens (centre) in WUXGA (PT-RZ31K) and SXGA+ (PT-RS30K).
The PT-RZ31K was recently used by PRG for the grand opening of the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall in Hamburg, Germany. The opening ceremony of the European Capital of Culture celebrations in Aarhus, Denmark also utilised the projector.
Paragon first to commit to RQ32K
Paragon projection has become Europe’s first company to commit to the new 4K, 27,000 lumens laser projector. The ultra-bright, 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE laser projector (PT-RQ32K), has quad pixel drive technology and creates breathtakingly detailed 4K+ images.
Two units have been added to Paragon’s rental stock with the expectation that these will find use in large events and conferences.
Mark Davies, Technical Sales Manager at Paragon projection, said, “We see this as a unique projection product. To combine such high brightness and high resolution in a compact body is a game changer for the projector rental industry.”
Gareth Day, Group Manager for Panasonic Visual Systems in the UK, said, “Panasonic is excited by the opportunity presented by 4K projection and we are delighted that a key rental partner like Paragon has quickly committed to the RQ32, which joins its extensive Panasonic projection portfolio.”
