Itaú to have an exclusive branch at the IBC during the 2014 FIFA World Cup™

Branch will offer services to both personal and corporate customers, ATMs, foreign exchange and international money transfers

As the Official Bank for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™, Itaú is to offer an exclusive service to accredited journalists and production and editing teams with access to the International Broadcast Center (IBC) during the tournament: a temporary dedicated branch located in Rio de Janeiro. All accredited personnel will have access to ATMs, banking services for individuals and corporate entities, foreign exchange and international money transfers as well as be able to acquire the pre-paid non-reloadable card which will be available at the branch from May 12 through July 14, 2014.

The branch will be open between May 12 and 25, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Between May 26 and July 15, opening hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. As from June 29, the branch will also be open on Sundays between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The ATM's can be operated in English, Spanish or Portuguese with a daily transaction limit of R$1,400. Itaú current account holders will have full access to services through the ATMs with the exception of deposits, which can be made at the branch cash desks. Non-account holders may draw and access balances using a Visa card, if authorized to do so by their own financial institution. Other cards will not be accepted at the cash terminals. The ATMs will be operational between April 21 and July 16, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Itaú's personal current account customers will be able to withdraw money in cash from the branch cashiers with bank checks, payment orders in Reals and using Itaú debit cards at the ATM's. The Itaú customer will also be able to make deposits, pay bills with Itaú and Visa cards and effect money transfers through the electronic transfer mechanism (DOCs, TEDs) and payment orders in Reals. The same conditions will apply to corporate entities holding current accounts at Itaú. Personal non-current account holders may withdraw cash at the branch against a payment order in Reals and pay bills in cash or with a Visa card.

The IBC branch is ready to handle non-resident corporate clients holding active accounts with Itaú. Foreign companies may send and receive overseas remittances, use the debit or credit card for withdrawals from ATMs, purchases from commercial establishments and for consultations, local payments and transfers through Internet Banking channels.

The foreign exchange service will be available to overseas visitors who are not current account holders for changing Euros, US Dollars, British Pounds, Japanese Yen and Swiss Francs. To exchange Traveler Checks, only American Express branded ones in Euros and US Dollars will be accepted. Receipt of payment of overseas remittances will be made via MoneyGram. The branch will be open for exchanging Traveler Checks and receiving overseas remittances between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. A passport or similar original identification document is required for each currency transaction. There is a transaction limit of US$3,000.

The prepaid card in Reals is non-reloadable, exempt from an interchange fee on the first transaction and is exclusively for purchases in Brazil using the direct debit function. It is valid for one year as from the date of acquisition and will be accepted at any Visa accredited point of sale, exclusively in Brazil, with a minimum load of R$20 per card and a maximum of R$1,500 for each CPF (Personal Brazilian ID Number) or passport. An official ID card with photograph for Brazilians and an original passport for overseas visitors is required when acquiring the card.
