AEA will also show the A840 microphone to the European AES audience for the first time. The active version of the award-winning R84 multi-purpose microphone, the A840, offers the signal strength and flexibility of active electronics combined with the luxurious warmth of a Big Ribbon in a much more affordable and compact package.

Other highlights of AEA’s wide range of products on display will include the RPQ ribbon preamp with Curve-Shaping and 48V phantom-power. This two-channel unit offers the versatility needed for any ribbon microphone, whether passive or phantom-powered. To find out more, come to CB Electronics’ stand (#1503) at AES London, where AEA representatives will be giving demonstrations throughout the show.
