For the fourth consecutive year, Unitecnic, also provided design, installation, and technical support services for the broadcast infrastructure at the TV Compound for the distribution of the international signals of the all broadcasters. In addition, Unitecnic also provided services for the distribution of the event and international audio needs for the 30 commentary booths at the track.
The entire infrastructure provided was in full HD as the whole event production was broadcast in high definition just as in 2011. The system was able to distribute three different feeds: WIF (Wide International Feed), NIF (Narrow International Feed) and the programme signal for the big screens around the track. The infrastructure provided allowed the WIF and NIF signals to be sent to 20 different destinations.
As on other occasions, the needs of the event required the highest possible levels of quality to be able to guarantee the optimal functioning of the system for the entire event coverage. Eumóvil, Media Móvil, Medialuso, Mediaconti and GOL T were all part of the team and played key roles in the success of the event.
