Mediapro at the Confederations Cup for HBS/FIFA

The Confederations Cup will take place in Brazil from 15th to the 30th June

Mediapro will be responsible for the coverage of the matches in three of the host stadiums for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 to be held in Brazil 2013, including the opening ceremony in Brasilia on 15th June. Two HD mobile units will provide broadcast services from the cities of Brasilia, Salvador and Recife.

With more than 35 cameras, 10 EVS and the necessary technical equipment as well as big team of experienced staff in this type of event, Mediapro will be providing services for half of the matches at the competition.

In addition, Mediapro has also been chosen by Al Jazeera Sport to customise the broadcast signal for the event, a service which also includes capture services (10 ENG HD teams with editing capability and 5 DSNG HD with production capability. The deployment will allow Al Jazeera Sport to broadcast all the matches from the event from all the host cities. The NHK network in Japan has also entrusted Mediapro with its customization needs for the event with a mobile HD unit with 8 cameras along with a production team to cover all the matches.
