Infostrada Sports Produces TriFinance EuroHockey Championships 2013
From 17 to 25 August, the biggest hockey event ever held in Belgium will take place at Braxgata H.C. in Boom, Belgium. The top 8 European women's and men's national teams will contest in 40 matches over 9 days for the European title. Germany (men) and the Netherlands (women) are the defending champions.
Infostrada Sports is responsible for the broadcast production of the European Championships and Mediapro, the leading technical services supplier to the audiovisual sector, will provide all technical support for the broadcast of the event on various media platforms. This support consists of providing a High Definition OB Van equipped with 12 cameras of the ultimate technical standard. In addition, Mediapro will handle the coordination and distribution of the delivery of the games' signals to the broadcast partners around the world.

In addition Infostrada Sports, Mediapro and Sports Exposure are the joint rights holder of the event. Mediapro, together with Muy Manero, is in charge of the global sales of the media rights. Sports Exposure is responsible for the delivery and advertising sales on the European market of all the LED boarding and the big video walls. Pitch side LED boarding is a big innovation in hockey.

With such a confidence in our team of umpires and in the TV crew, we are, for the first time ever in hockey, using open microphones in the stadium during video referrals. This will mean that spectators will be able to listen to the question being asked to the VM and to his or her answer! Another innovation is, that through Sports Exposure, we are using pitch side LED Boarding, yet another first for hockey. We know that the quality of our athletes and their efforts on the field is deserving of the ‘look and feel’ of the most popular professional worldwide sports. These are indeed exciting times for all of us in the European Hockey Federation."
