Vinten®, a Vitec Group brand and a global leader in camera supports, is showcasing its new Vision blue and award winning Vector 430 at SATIS, 19-21 October 2010. The innovative products are the latest in Vinten’s highly acclaimed range of top quality camera support solutions.

The competitively priced Vision blue is a pan and tilt head and tripod system that is designed to provide the experienced camera operator with professional support to match the extremely high-performance of today’s popular small lightweight camcorders and DSLRs equipped for video.

Vision blue addresses the need for a broadcast quality tripod system capable of genuinely balancing the smaller, lightly accessorised cameras, managing payloads between 2.1 - 5kg / 4.6 - 11lbs with a low centre of gravity of approximately 55mm. The Vision blue head incorporates Vinten’s Perfect Balance technology and infinitely adjustable Vision LF drag technology for silky smooth movement and precise framing. This functionality has never before been available for such light cameras, and brings a new consistency of movement to every user.

The Vector 430 has recently received two accolades following its debut showing at IBC2010, including the TV Technology Europe STAR award, and TVB Europe’s “Best of IBC2010” editors’ award. The Vector 430 pan and tilt head ideal for the growing number of applications that use both compact box lens and large EFP barrel lenses. Developed in collaboration with leading global customers including outside broadcast production company, Telegenic, the Vector 430 bridges the gap between Vision and Vector ranges. The unique and lightweight pan and tilt head boasts an extremely large capacity range of 10 - 43 kg (22 – 94.8lbs) and incorporates Vinten’s infinitely adjustable Perfect Balance and smooth TF drag technology into a previously unattainable compact package. This means that the Vector 430 provides a single choice for camera operators in the studio or out on the field, when two heads may have previously been required.

“All camera operators and professional videographers want the same thing: smooth, predictable and controllable movement; fast set-up; and a reliable product,” said Peter Harman, Vinten product manager. “We are delighted to respond to market demand and showcase the Vector 430 and Vision blue’s high-quality performance at SATIS.”

The Vinten blue and Vector 430 can be seen on stand D37 at the 28th SATIS show. The event will take place at Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris between 19-21 October 2010.
