Live Nation introduces ‘Live at Home’ site
posted:
Faced with the prospect of canceled and postponed shows for the foreseeable future, Live Nation is getting involved in the trend toward live streaming performances.
Through its website at livenation.com, the live music and event giant has introduced “Live at Home” a consolidated list with links of performances that are live streaming during the coronavirus crisis.
The page lists links to one-off shows from artists like Third Eye Blind and Phish along with weekly series delivered from Miley Cyrus and Metallica.

All shows through May at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford have been cancelled or postponed. The next scheduled performance is country group Sugarland on June 6.
Social distancing has got some of us bummed since we can’t enjoy the outdoors, but music could help with that.
We don’t mean just playing your Spotify on a loop while you’re safely indoors or leaving a YouTube playlist on as you work from home during the coronavirus outbreak.

There are artists who are livestreaming performances from their living room or turning to Instagram to give you snippets of new projects.
It could be hard to just constantly search for your favorite artist and see what they’re up to, so Live Nation is doing it for you.
It’s part of their initiative “Live from Home.”
