British by birth, Jamie Dunn gained his Tonmeister degree at the respected University of Surrey in the UK

Control systems specialist VSM Control GmbH has appointed a new Sales Director to oversee sales of Virtual Studio Manager (VSM) outside Europe.  Jamie Dunn joins the company after 13 years with Studer.

Virtual Studio Manager is a flexible and compatible one-stop control solution which has proved its functionality in more than 75% of all European mobile broadcast trucks in recent years. Sales outside Europe are handled by VSM Control GmbH, which is based in Germany; Jamie Dunn joins this team with a brief to boost the international sales network for VSM’s best-in-class broadcast-controller technology.

British by birth, Jamie Dunn gained his Tonmeister degree at the respected University of Surrey in the UK and then spent 3 years working for a classical music production company, acquiring valuable recording and production experience with some of the world’s best musicians and orchestras.  He joined Studer in 1998, initially as Product Expert and Sales Engineer, later as Product Manager, and most recently as Sales Director with responsibility for the USA, Central and South America.  His various remits have taken him all over the world, including 4 years in Los Angeles.
