The SC-VECTOR PLUS 0.8L/3.7DZ video BNC patch cable (Art. V8GX-***) from Sommer Cable offers flexibility and durability. Its double CU braided shielding ensures complete coverage and effective protection against external interference. The cable features a robust insulation made from low-attenuation cellular PE (3.7 mm) surrounding a 0.7 mm inner conductor composed of 19 x 0.16 mm CU strands. The outer jacket, with a 6.1 mm diameter, is constructed from a notch-resistant PUR material that remains flexible in cold conditions and is resistant to heat and UV exposure.

 

The patch cable is equipped with NEUTRIK rearTWIST UHD BNC connectors which are designed for the transmission of high-resolution video signals. Thanks to their special insulator and contact pin design, these connectors ensure a low return loss for 4K and 8K signals.

Alternatively, the cable manufacturer supplies a version with the reliable and compact HICON 6G BNC connectors BNC0.8/3.7-6G with a hard gold-plated pin and shielded housing which are popular in broadcast and media technology, for the lowest possible skin effect and a low-loss transmission. The SC-VECTOR PLUS 0.8L/3.7DZ is not only available in various standard lengths, but also in custom lengths, on cable reels or as bulkware (art. 601-0181).

It is ideal for digital UHD-SDI video transmission in professional broadcast, OB van use and studio environments as well as in high-frequency technology and satellite antenna construction or for professional, fixed media installations in line with the 6G standard.
