From the second half of 2013, the new space will be home to the production and customer service departments including test-engineering and metrology. It will provide significantly larger production and storage space for the various product lines as well as comprehensively equipped inspection and test facilities and a large conference room for training purposes. The development section, which has increased in size significantly in recent years, will remain in the existing part of the complex. With a total floor space of 4,100 square meters, which corresponds to a doubling of the current area, the new suite of buildings will offer plenty of possibilities for further expansion in the future.

The manufacturing of 19” rack cabinets forms an important part of the inhouse engineering and construction activities. The 19" racks and customized components such as subscriber-unit housings, uniquely laid-out patch bays and wall boxes are made in a state-of-the-art precision-engineering plant.

Even the surface finishing of cases and front panels is undertaken in-house thanks to a powder-spray coating facility. Two laser-cutting and labeling systems provide a high degree of manufacturing flexibility with extremely short production lead times for custom products.
Each component passes through a quality control process before final assembly. At the customer’s site, all these elements are brought together to form an optimal single entity - exactly the system originally envisaged by the customer.
