Sony TRIMASTER EL™ OLED Professional Monitoring Technology Honored EMMY

.

Sony TRIMASTER EL™ OLED technology was recently honored by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with a Technical Emmy for its TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitor technology, one of the company’s cornerstone technologies.

Sony was first to bring OLED to the consumer market with an 11-inch TV display. But its biggest success has been in broadcast and video production, where Sony’s TRIMASTER EL™ OLED is used for critical viewing applications, with more than 15,000 Sony BVM and PVM professional monitors in use worldwide.

“Industry recognition is one of the best proof points for Sony’s TRIMASTER EL™ OLED technology. This award is an incredibly high honor and testament to the tremendous amount of effort, creativity, innovation and collaboration that went into the technology’s development,” said Gary Mandle, Senior Product Manager at Sony Electronics’ Professional Solutions of America group. “When a director or colourist is making sure the colour reproduction for a movie or TV show is perfectly accurate, Sony’s TRIMASTER EL™ OLED is the technology they are turning to more and more. That’s just one example of the many professional applications for Sony’s TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitors.”
