sono Celebrates 25th Anniversary

On October 1st sono Studiotechnik grows 25 years old. And likewise 25 years young!

From starting in 1987 the company looks back on continuous growth and became a high-performance supplier for system design and integration. The rental department was developed simultaneously and offers everything needed for high grade TV production – from single items to complete, fully integrated and customized flypack systems.

Starting with a single “employee” the company´s staff has grown to 40 people and as a result sono Studiotechnik is now a competent partner for the whole spectrum of TV production.

Our move to new premises in Feldkirchen near Munich, one year ago underlines this development impressively. With 1.600 square meters of surface area our new offices and workshops have grown three times as large and offer new, comfortable work spaces wherein the increasing complexity of modern workflows have been considered.

As a result the company is well prepared for future challenges.

Due to the increasing catastrophes worldwide we have decided not to celebrate our anniversary and donate to “Medecins sans Frontieres” instead.
