Rob op de Beek will retire ,Johan Lieffers will lead Datavideo Technologies Europe BV starting 2019

Datavideo Technologies Europe BV today announced that Johan Lieffers will lead Datavideo Technologies Europe BV starting 2019. Johan will take over all responsibilities from Rob op de Beek, founder of the EMEA office, who is retiring from his position. Datavideo Technologies Europe BV is the EMEA head office of Datavideo, distributing Datavideo hardware in more than 55 countries across the region.

Rob op de Beek will retire from his position as managing director at the end of this year. Rob has founded the EMEA head office in 1999 and served Datavideo as a managing director for 20 years. Before Datavideo, Rob started his career as a buyer for various organizations, eventually specializing in photo and video hardware. Rob was approached by Jack Lin, CEO of Datavideo Corporation in Taiwan to start the European head office from Utrecht, the Netherlands.

“I will miss giving leadership to the company on a day to day basis, but I will stay connected as a member of the board. I am confident that this change will give Datavideo Europe the momentum to grow into the next era,” said Rob op de Beek. “Johan’s experience in the AV and high end broadcasting industry is very valuable for the company. Johan has both the feel and the perseverance to lead Datavideo Europe.”
