Pixel Power - New Products for Asia

Broadcast Asia 15 - 18 June in Singapore

Pixel Power will be highlighting its latest product developments at Broadcast Asia, with several making their regional debut. In addition, staff will be on-hand to discuss the company’s latest developments in stereoscopic 3D graphics playout and what this really means for broadcasters across Asia.

3D TV branding demonstration

Pixel Power will be demonstrating a solution for adding stereoscopic 3D branding graphics to broadcast channels using an enhanced version of the Clarity 3D software option running on a standard Clarity 3000 hardware unit. Moving beyond displaying eye-catching 3D objects in 3D space, visitors to the Pixel Power stand can be assured of a realistic market assessment, bringing intelligence to the 3D hype and explaining where the potential complexities lie.

BrandMaster Video Switch Panel

Following on from last year’s highly successful launch of BrandMaster – the world’s first combined channel branding and master control technology – Broadcast Asia 2010 sees the regional debut of Pixel Power’s brand new hardware control panel. Designed for maximum configurability, VSP for BrandMaster is the world’s first master control panel to feature TFT keys that can display full colour images of graphics and video assets. This achieves new standards of ease of use and workflow simplicity for busy master control environments.

PPMC for BrandMaster

Pixel Power’s Management Console now fully supports the creation of soft control panels for BrandMaster, using drag-and-drop simplicity. Pixel Power Management Console (PPMC) is a Windows-hosted application that enables remote and local configuration, management and operational control of any Pixel Power graphics system.

Clarity V9

This is the regional debut for the new version of Pixel Power’s Clarity software, Version 9, which provides a wide range of enhancements over its globally successful predecessor. Its new features – sophisticated enhancements to its 3D capabilities with the ability to link complex materials to real-time scenes and data-driven elements, simplified workflow via intelligent templating and enhanced file-based workflows, among many others – are made even easier to use via a new GUI.
