MOG at NAB 2010

MOG @ NAB

This year at NAB, MOG, the leading and award-winning provider of MXF tools and workflow ingest solutions, will be presenting its latest innovations and will be demonstrating how its mxfSPEEDRAIL can help broadcasters and content producers streamline their production workflow with centralized file-based and SDI/HD-SDI recording systems.

mxfSPEEDRAIL for Live and OB Production

From April 12th through 15th, MOG team will be showcasing at booth SL1406 the most innovative and comprehensive technology with its newest Ingest Solutions that enable editing-while-ingesting in video editors. With new features and a wide range of new models, mxfSPEEDRAIL S1000 and F1000 have already been helping the broadcast and post-production community worldwide to accelerate their migration to file-based production.

MOG invites you to see how mxfSPEEDRAIL helps in: Live and OB Production in both standalone or in integrated and high-profile workflows; in Studio Productions: with gang channel recording and VTR recording capabilities; in Newsroom Production with a flexible centralized file-based ingest solution supporting all tapeless camera manufacturers and IT video servers; in Archive repurposing as a high-performing ingest bridge for fast turnaround on your content. In any scenario, mxfSPEEDRAIL makes the content editable before recording and before the file ingest finishes, this without stopping the recording prematurely and by using additional video channels!

Available video codecs: DNxHD, DVCPro HD, XDCAM HD, SD DV and IMX

The mxfSPEEDRAIL is already available in two line series that allow full control of the workflows and both with editing-while-capture capabilities: the F1000 model series aimed to ingest from MXF file-based camera manufacturers, MXF video servers and Archives directly to the editing storage and the S1000 model series aimed to record either live SDI/HD-SDI feeds or to record material coming from a VTR. The S1000 model flexibility provides a choice of video codecs such as: DNxHD, DVCPro HD, XDCAM HD as well as the SD DV and IMX, and has the ability to be controlled remotely and directly from the video editor station, without the need to equip the OB truck with an extra monitor, keyboard and mouse. Regardless of model, users will get full control over the record and ingest process either by an Internet browser or via a Media Asset Management System (through web-service interfaces). In addition, the S1000 will provide RS422 control protocol and simultaneous proxy generation to work as the perfect replacement for the newest decks and multi-resolution workflows in a finger-friendly interface.

Come and visit MOG at NAB 2010 in the south hall lower level: SL1406 and be overwhelmed by the new multi-resolution features, as well as, by the more versatile compact and cost-effective models for both the S1000 and F1000 series.
