L-S-B Welcomes New Team Members in Wiesbaden

Katrin Schäfer was appointed Project Engineer

L-S-B Broadcast Technologies GmbH has welcomed three new employees in the past months. The new recruits will support the Audio- and Video- control system manufacturer in the Projects, Services and Documentation departments.

„The increasing market for L-S-B products has not only secured us many new projects in the past year, but has allowed us to achieve a company goal of overall growth and expansion. Hired to support this rising demand, we are excited to welcome our new employees and their technical competence and expertise into our team to help us continue growing in the future, “ stated Wilfried Luff, General Manager.

Projects & Support welcomes two of the new recruits to their department. To maintain the realization of projects Katrin Schäfer was appointed Project Engineer in January. In her role she is responsible for customer-orientated configurations from Virtual Studio Manager (VSM) and bringing them into service. Schäfer studied Media and Imaging Technology at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and has previous experience with video and imagine engineering in outside broadcast environments.

Additionally, Marcus Schliszio takes on the role of Service Technician to support the department. Joining the team in March, he brings over 12 years of experience in the field of IT and will represent L-S-B and serve as a direct technical contact for customers. A trained IT system technician, he will be responsible for preparing servers for customers, as well as the coordination and maintenance of installations.

Klaus Zerbe, on board since January, strengthens the quality control, knowledge management and procedure optimisation in the product development department. After completing his computer engineering degree at TU Darmstadt, Zerbe gained experience as a system administrator, application developer, consultant and software architect.

He brings expertise in the technical fields of heterogeneous networked system development, application frameworks, as well as client-server and web applications. “I find it fascinating how L-S-B has created a symbiosis of broadcast and network technologies through products like vsmStudio and vsmGadgetserver. These products offer a huge potential for innovation and I am excited about being a part of this expanding this niche market,” Zerbe stated upon joining L-S-B.
