Infostrada Unveils New Centralparq Functionality for Avid, EVS, Quantel and Dropbox

Quantel and EVS customers can now enjoy the same benefits as Avid users, by employing Centralparq’s Mediadoq ingest tool to transform the video production environment and make processes faster, easier and more secure.

The integration with Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive and Box allows Centralparq users to select media in Dropbox, transcode clips to the desired project resolution and transfer them to their Avid, EVS or Quantel editing systems. This also works for media filmed using an iPhone or Android phone.

In addition Centralparq’s new Talent Module content management system helps production teams on reality talent shows to manage the vast amount of content linked to the thousands of hopeful contestants involved in each show. From auditions to live final shows, it handles all email and SMS communications with the talent, checks them in for a shoot, and handles the directors’ shot lists. Media is ingested using Mediadoq and mapped to timecoded production notes, and is then logged, catalogued and subclipped for easy browsing.

Centralparq is also introducing a new Graphics Wrapper module that enables users to quickly create video promo packages. Centralparq can fully automate the versioning process of repetitive promotional clips, interstitials or daily menus by automatically adding a pre-defined graphics template to video. The user decides what is standard – such as the programme name and the concept - and what needs to be customized with relevant text. Similarly for web campaigns, Centralparq can create personalized clips where complex graphics and text layers are added automatically to each version of a clip. The Graphics Wrapper works within file-based SD, HD or 4K graphics workflows and is fully integrated with the user’s broadcast scheduling system or CMS.
