XT3 is the new future-proof video recording and production server from EVS. At the heart of Sports360°, XT3 has been designed with advanced capabilities such as eight recording/playback channels in loop mode, multi-codec native support, and embedded high and low resolution media management to get the most out of any recorded frame with the highest speed and reliability. The new XT3 platform is the industry’s first server featuring six non-stop 3Gbps feed ingest and playout capabilities for live and near-live 3D or 3G production operations.

EVS C-Cast is the first advanced multi-cam solution allowing instant distribution of multi-camera angle content from venues to web-connected screens during live productions. XDCam Codec Support
EVS has announced that native support for Sony’s XDCAM 422 50Mbps HD codec will be available in its XT3 and XS servers from the end of this year.

MXF File Mastering – Media Toolset for Streamlined Workflow
EVS will unveil its latest toolset for media exchange and file mastering to streamline any broadcast production and archive media workflow operations. Combining the best of MXF file mastering technologies and advanced media conforming systems, EVS’ MXF File Mastering toolset includes the next MXF file-based OpenCube server offering full mastering of new AS02, AS03, and IMF formats, the master format required by Hollywood studios – as well as Quicktime ProRes. EVS OpenCube MXF server was recently chosen by the prestigious French National Archive (INA) to digitize the entire French audiovisual library under its MXF JPEG2000 long-term archive master pivot format.
