EVS brings together reliability and innovation at Mannheim’s SAP Arena
The workflow elements to be installed will include an XT3 live production server, slow motion monitoring tool MultiReview and the IPDirector live content management suite with an IPLink plug-in for Adobe Premier Pro CC workstations. These proven solutions will be integrated in the arena next to EVS’ new innovative IT-based DYVI switcher.
“We’re passionate about the latest innovations and we love technology that’s as flexible and versatile as we are,” said Daniel Hopp, CEO of the SAP Arena. “This is what EVS technology is – it will work for us while we produce any number of events while remaining reliable and efficient.”
The new EVS workflow will be used to cover a number of different events taking place at the SAP Arena. While the 13,600 seater-arena acts as the home of the Adler Mannheim ice hockey team and the Rhein-Neckar Löwen handball team, it also hosts concerts and events of some of the biggest musical acts in the world.
EVS is globally recognized as the technology leader for live video production. The company introduced Live Slow Motion replay in 1994, and has continued to build on its reputation for quality and reliability with solutions that enhance live sports, entertainment and news content. Innovations – such as the C-Cast multimedia platform and DYVI IT-based switcher – are raising the bar for live production enrichment, management and distribution. Broadcasters, rights owners, producers and venues alike use EVS to maximize the value of their productions and increase revenue streams.
