EVS brings together reliability and innovation at Mannheim’s SAP Arena

German arena to install several EVS solutions including the brand new DYVI IT-based switcher

EVS, the leading provider of live video solutions, today announced a deal with the multi-use SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany to install an extensive range of EVS technology which will benefit the production of the ice hockey, handball, concerts and events held in the venue.

The workflow elements to be installed will include an XT3 live production server, slow motion monitoring tool MultiReview and the IPDirector live content management suite with an IPLink plug-in for Adobe Premier Pro CC workstations. These proven solutions will be integrated in the arena next to EVS’ new innovative IT-based DYVI switcher.

The new EVS workflow will be used to cover a number of different events taking place at the SAP Arena. While the 13,600 seater-arena acts as the home of the Adler Mannheim ice hockey team and the Rhein-Neckar Löwen handball team, it also hosts concerts and events of some of the biggest musical acts in the world.
