EVS Appoints Xavier De Vynck as VP of New Market Development

At EVS, De Vynck comes to help the company develop its activities in new markets with brand new solutions

EVS has recently appointed Xavier De Vynck as the Vice-President of New Market Development with a special focus on EVS’ new Archive and Media Asset Management Division in Brussels.

Xavier De Vynck is a 20-year veteran of the broadcasting technology industry. Before joining EVS, he was Strategic Business Development Manager at Avid where he successfully developed new markets for the company. Prior to that, he was Vice-President of EMEA at Genesis Networks, a US-based company specializing in building fibre connectivity solutions for media companies. Before his time at Genesis Networks, De Vynck was Vice-President of Business Development for the French broadcast software provider NETIA SA, where he had served since 1997.  Other positions at NETIA include International Sales and Marketing Director as well as Sales Director. Prior to NETIA, De Vynck served as the Regional Sales Manager, EMEA, for AAVS SA, a French systems integrator and distributor for the broadcasting industry. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he founded and managed Eurosound NV, a Belgian company where he spearheaded the implementation of IT technology in the broadcast and public address world. De Vynck studied Financial Management in Belgium.

At EVS, De Vynck comes to help the company develop its activities in new markets with brand new solutions specifically dedicated to advanced digital archive and media management and monetization. These new solutions, based on combined broadcast, IT and web technology are already used by major international sports federations to create maximum value out of their media.
