Content Management for Digital Media: Beta Film Continues to Rely on MX1

Worldwide Content Distributor Beta Film Extends Its Contract With Global Media Service Provider MX1 for Another Four Years, Deploying MX1 360 Platform to Manage All Video Content

MX1, the global media service provider, announced today that Beta Film Ltd., one of the leading international operating distributors for TV, home video and new media content, has expanded its partnership with MX1 for several more years. MX1 is providing Beta Film with a wide range of content management services, starting with data preparation and transfer of data storage, as well as the management of metadata and images.

This all takes place under the control of MX1's innovative end-to-end media services platform, MX1 360, which enables customers to manage, deliver, and market their content through a single hybrid, cloud-based service platform.

"We are proud that this alliance with Beta Film is now set up on a long-term basis," said Christoph Mühleib, head of MX1 and ASTRA services sales in DACH. "The new contract shows that we have the right solutions for different needs and that we are able not only to convince clients in the classic broadcasting sector of the value of our services, but also to satisfy companies in the licensing business."
