Broadcast Solutions enters the Finnish Broadcast market

Broadcast Solutions GmbH has successfully acquired Outside Broadcast Service Business from the Finnish System Integrator Qualitron Oy Ab and established a subsidiary, Broadcast Solutions Finland Oy. The newly formed subsidiary will provide OB Support and Maintenance Services to its customers in Finland and will invest further to expand its offering later this year to cover all aspects of Broadcast Services.

The Finnish Broadcast market is very innovative and well appreciated in Europe although it is relatively small in size. But also due its nature the market has become more service oriented than many others in Europe. Broadcast Solutions as an early adopter will now leverage the experience it gains from this acquisition with its customer base in Europe, Middle-East and South-East Asia, where the company has already delivered more than 100 OB-vans in the past years.

“With this acquisition we will bring one more significant aspect, OB Support & Maintenance Service, into our offering and will develop this service even further so the all our existing and new customers can benefit from this development as well”, says Antti Laurila, the newly appointed Managing Director of Broadcast Solutions Finland Oy.

In addition to the OB Service Business, Broadcast Solutions will bring its international experience and knowledge to use for its Finnish customers, that will help the Finnish market to get the latest innovations and best practices among the first in Europe.
