With his knowledge of the industry and the region, he will be a great asset to Broadcast Pix, our dealers, and our customers.”

A veteran of the broadcast industry, van Elk began his career as an engineer for Canada’s Global TV. Most recently, he worked for the TDF Group (TéléDiffusion de France) selling playout capacity worldwide.

In his new position at Broadcast Pix, van Elk has already sold a Granite 5000 system to Turkmenistan TV, and expects to grow market share for the company in the region. “It’s a very compelling product line, and it’s easy for broadcasters and other video professionals to appreciate the quality and value,” he explained. “With so many built-in workflow tools, Broadcast Pix systems save money, save space, and save installation headaches. It’s a very innovative approach to live video production.”
