Barco RHDM-1701: perfect colors in a compact shape

RHDM-1701

The RHDM-2301 has proven its value as a high-definition reference monitor, excelling in amazing color accuracy, image stability and motion handling. In order to bring the same quality to more confined spaces, including OB vans and camera shading positions, Barco introduces its 17" high-definition reference monitor.

As a true Grade-1 LCD display, RHDM-1701 offers the color accuracy professionals demand. Advanced calibration and stabilization technology keep the colors lasting, ensuring a perfect reference at all times. The motion handling system prevents motion blur and produces CRT-like quality that is second to none. And a native 10-bit panel, calibrated LED backlights and 48-bit processing guarantee the highest color accuracy on the market. Furthermore, the reduced dimensions allow this reference monitor to fit into 19 inch racks. The RHDM-1701 will premiere at this year's NAB Show!

RHDM-P monitors are able to handle custom 3D LUTs

Reference monitors used in post-production of feature films need to visualize how a final film print will look like. In order to simulate this, a 3D LUT must be applied to the input signal, either in an external processor, or internally in the monitor. That's why Barco's RHDM-P version is now able to handle custom 3D LUTs as a standard feature - for the RHDM-B version this is an option. Formats supported are from Filmlight, Cinespace and Autodesk.
