The world’s top ULTRA4 racers converge in Johnson Valley, CA every February to compete in the King of Hammers, a week-long series of off-road races spanning more than 200 miles of rocky desert terrain. The race draws in more than 60,000 spectators and is broadcast live to audiences via the ULTRA4 racing website and Livestream.com, with highlights streamed to YouTube and Facebook Live. Hammerking Productions is responsible for the week-long production, capturing and streaming more than seven hours of footage a day to fans on-site and online. With this year’s production involving multiple camera sources and destinations, the Hammerking team tapped AJA’s KUMO 6464 for SDI signal routing.

Airtime's Wingcam at the FIS Alpine World Championships in St Moritz
The Wingcam spans a length of 1,150m and runs above the women's racetrack with insight into the lower range of all disciplines of women and men. The line was designed and worked out together with SRG SSR TV director Beni Giger. The system is stretched between only two 18 m masts, which were also provided by Airtime Unlimited GmbH. The lower mast is connected to the Nüssli main stand at the finish area and and was manually erected. The upper mast was flown in as one piece with the helicopter and mounted on prepared ground anchors. This practice is often used when the Wingcam is used in alpine competitions.

Airstar Lighting Solutions Reach New Heights at Rio Olympics and Paralympics
For the 2016 milestone sporting event, Airstar do Brasil deployed a total of 34 Flex lighting balloons – 12 Flex 4K and 22 Flex 1K – in the legendary Copacabana area. The lighting solutions were installed around the field of play at the Beach Volley Arena (BVA) and the Triathlon Stadium (FTC).
Air Racing thrills return to EuroSpeedway Lausitz on 3-4 September
It’s what German motorsport fans have waited six long years to see: on 3-4 September 2016, the Red Bull Air Race will return to Germany’s EuroSpeedway Lausitz – formerly known as the Lausitzring – for the first time since the ultimate motorsport series in the sky debuted at the famed oval in 2010. Adding to the anticipation, the race will be a homecoming for Germany’s own Matthias Dolderer, the pilot who is at the top of the World Championship standings.
