One XA99x mans the high third base position placed on an I-MOVIX ultra-slow-motion system, provided by Fletcher Chicago.  M-12 is also equipped with four XA77x9.5 telephoto field lenses.

It was Nashville’s turn to host the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, and the four-day event in Music City was packed with enough star power on and off the ice to excite thousands of hockey fans. Morris, formerly known as Morris Light and Sound, was charged with conceptualizing and executing the audio and lighting installations and providing 24/7 production management at five venues during the weekend. Morris deployed grandMA2 consoles at three of the locations.

A cable camera system is imple­mented at five of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ stadiums – Cape Town, Durban, both Johannesburg stadiums and Nelson Mandela Bay/ Port Elizabeth. The ‘Spidercam’, operational at four of these ven­ues, enables the flight and move­ment of a camera across a three dimensional field. “Each of the systems in use has a team of three with it,” explains Jens Peters, Operations Technician, “two joystick opera­tors, one for the Spidercam system itself, and one for the camera, and one technician for setting up, checking, maintenance and so on.”

They have been split almost evenly between two bases of opera­tion: the IBC and the SRG Me­dia Centre at Vanderbijlpark, which was next to the Swiss team base at Emerald Resort before the team’s departure on 28 June following their exit at the end of the group stages.

MEDIAPRO Canada has sealed a distribution deal with StarTimes, the digital operator serving some 13 million pay-TV subscribers in 47 territories across sub-Saharan Africa, for coverage of the Canadian Premier League’s Island Games tournament currently taking place in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. StarTimes will broadcast seven first-round CPL games, the six playoff matches and the grand final on its ST Sports Life channel, which is available on the StarTimes satellite and terrestrial platforms across the region.
