After Trix and Flix in Austria and Switzerland in 2008, Europe’s next festival of football will have a new duo to bring it luck. Dressed in red/white and yellow/blue football strips, the dynamic twins wear the national colours of the two host countries, Poland and Ukraine.

UEFA has selected Gearhouse Broadcast to deliver their Technical Operations Centres (TOCs) and Cable Interconnection Rooms (CIR) as part of their comprehensive installation at each of the ten EURO 2016 venues located in Paris, Saint-Denis, Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse. Gearhouse broadcast has also provided a special cameras and EVS slow-motion operations facility at each venue.

The most challenging part of having a final with as much international interest as the UEFA Champions League Final in Wembley Stadium was that the main compound is not large enough to accommodate all of the porta cabins and HD OBVan units required. So while the host compound is tucked nicely within the stadium the 11 other broadcasters were located in the green parking lot. That required a massive fibre infrastructure to connect not only the two locations to each other but also to the eight pitch-view studios that were installed inside the stadium.

UCI Appoints HBS as Host Broadcaster of the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships

Host Broadcast Services (HBS), a fully owned subsidiary of Infront Sports & Media, has been selected by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to serve as host broadcaster of the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, which will be held in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines from 18 to 22 February. HBS has appointed Euro Media France to provide the technical platform.

Croatel was responsible for the complete TV broadcasting of all 47 matches into 175 territories by at least 130 media outlets. In addition to the core handball markets in Europe, the event was broadcasted live throughout South, Central and North America, as well as to the UK, Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The cumulative TV audience was more than 1.6 billion viewers for the tournament.
