GLP‘s premium impression LED range was out in force recently at the eighth Clockenflap 2015 — a three-day outdoor music and arts festival in Hong Kong.
 

Belgian lighting designer Carlo Zaenan of QBE created another amazing live show in Benelux – it’s all happening there - using a rig that included 256 Robe moving lights – the 2016 leg of the ‘Symphonica in Rosso’ concerts, six performances presented by Dutch superstar singer Marco Borsato at Amsterdam’s 17,000 capacity Ziggo Dome.
 

Described as “three-days of fast beats, loud drops, beautiful people, and so many lights” by Billboard, many of those luminaires used on Ultra Music Festival again bore the Elation Professional logo with well over 500 Elation products in action on several stages at Miami’s biggest EDM party of the year.

The event’s audio production management - headed up by Colin Pink – crew, control and loudspeaker systems were provided by Britannia Row Productions. The complex sound requirements of a televised major awards event, with performances by some of contemporary music’s highest profile acts were handled easily by the DiGiCo consoles.
 

Mediatec used Ultrix to distribute live feeds across the eight control rooms used during the tournament for stadium production and patron screens. They needed the ability to route video together with the audio that was being processed in their audio console to these remote areas – as well as monitor these feeds from their Master Control Room.

Multi-talented singer, dancer and actress Tinashe is out on her 2016 “Joyride” world tour beneath an Elation Professional rig of SixBar 1000™ LED battens and Platinum 5R Beam™ moving heads with graphic elements displayed across an LED wall made up of Elation EMAG4™ LED panels. The efficient lighting and video package is highly versatile and creates surprisingly big looks for the moody but active show.

A lighting designer with Nashville-based Pulse Lighting, Justin Casey has been working with the band since last July.  Moe. tours year-round; their winter tour recently concluded in Manhattan.  “The band celebrated its 25th anniversary year in 2015, and the winter tour wrapped in New York City on St. Patrick’s Day,” says Casey.  “I’ll be redesigning the winter rig for Moe.’s summer festival tour.”  Main Light Industries supplied the lights and consoles for the winter tour.
 

When John Turner, Front of House engineer for Celtic rock band Runrig, was asked what console he would like to use on the band’s recent sold out UK and European tour, his answer was instantaneous. A DiGiCo SD7.

Parashoot PA was appointed to manage the sound, selecting S7000 Control Surface and DM64 MixRack at both FOH and monitors, and a ME system for personal monitors, from its hire stock.
