W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden AB recently helped bring a holiday shower of lights to the Natal Luz Gramado Festival in Brazil. Billed as the biggest Christmas party in the country, Natal Luz saw an audience of approximately 1.4 million people. The season lasted 74 days - November 3, 2011 to January 15, 2012 - and the result exceeded the perspective of the organization.

For the last 4 years, the award-winning W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden has been used in a very special festival in Norway, the Verket Musikkfestival. The 2-day festival, held in the beautiful town of Mo i Rana, located just below the Arctic Circle, hosts some of Norway’s best artists each year, with the 2012 festival hosting a sold out venue of over 5000 visitors each night. The crowds came to see 14 musical acts including Timbuktu & Damn, Dumdum Boys, Gabrielle and Melissa Horn.

W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden proved to be MVP at Super Bowl XLVI, where Indianapolis transformed the heart of downtown into Super Bowl Village, a ten-day, three-block interactive festival of football. The Village entertained hundreds of thousands of visitors with live concerts, food and beverages, an ESPN Broadcast Studio, and even ziplines running down the main street.

W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden AB made a beautiful exhibition during the recent Closing Ceremony for the first European Games at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan on June 28. The inaugural event was broadcast throughout Europe and beyond and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 20 sports. The newly built 225,000-square-meter Stadium held a sold out audience of 68,000 for both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

The game decides the champion of the Canadian Football League. The halftime show was designed by Vancouver-based Electric Aura and featuring rock band Imagine Dragons.

W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden was part of a show-stopping performance during the recent Melodifestivalen 2012 as part of Danny Saucedo’s crowd favorite, “Amazing”. Melodifestivalen is the annual Swedish song contest that determines Sweden's song to be internationally represented in the Eurovision Song Contest. This year’s Melodifestivalen began February 4 and the Finals were held at the Globe Arena in Stockholm on March 10.

Lady Gaga is taking the globe by storm in her current world tour, Born This Way Ball. The show clocks in at two and a half hours with 23 songs split into five acts. The stage is modeled on a medieval Gothic castle featuring viewing towers, intricate carvings and a large catwalk allowing audience interaction.

W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden AB recently joined legendary Norwegian alternative rock band Seigmen on stage for a 3-day show in Tønsberg, Norway, lit with an impressive rig designed by Lighting Designer Petter Nilssen.

W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution was one of the players at the 99th Grey Cup, the prestigious Canadian football game between the East Division champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the West Division champion BC Lions to decide the champion of the Canadian Football League in the 2011 season. The game was held on Sunday, November 27 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver in front of a live audience of 54,313.

WARPRO, the Edinburgh-based specialist in audio visual equipment, is the first in the UK to invest in Panasonic’s latest generation 4K PT-RQ35K projectors. The company has acquired four of the world’s smallest and lightest 30,500 lumen, 3-Chip DLP projectors to upgrade its rental stock, as well as Panasonic’s latest PTZ Remote cameras. The purchases are part of a significant investment to enable WARPRO to deliver 4K end-to-end production in preparation for the mass return of the events industry in 2021.
