Claypaky Fixtures Light Up Hiperkarma’s 20th Anniversary Concert in Budapest
Hungarian alternative rock band Hiperkarma celebrated its 20th anniversary with a few close friends – all 6,500 of them at the Laszlo Papp Budapest Sports Arena, Hungary’s biggest sports complex. A large complement of Claypaky lighting fixtures helped illuminate the concert, which was held on February 7, 2020 after almost two months of rehearsals.

Ayrton Diablo tours Sweden for the first time with Riksteatern’s Love Songs
Riksteatern, the Swedish National Touring Theatre, was due to take its production of Love Songs on a three month tour of Sweden from early March, with lighting director and designer, Jörgen ‘Hajen’ Haimanas, choosing 6 Ayrton Diablo LED profile luminaires as a major feature of his lighting design, in what would be Diablo’s first national tour of Sweden. Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, the tour was only able to complete the first five dates before it was necessarily postponed by lockdown.

As even the most casual of sports fans know, the Super Bowl is a huge event in the sporting calendar and has long since expanded beyond the game itself into a full weekend of entertainment. This year saw Dome Productions contracted to supply OB services for the AT&T Super Saturday Night with Lady Gaga event, with myself acting as Audio Guarantor. This was a great win for Dome Productions and, speaking personally, it’s been the most exciting job of my career so far.

Featuring a line-up of Deutsch-rap and R&B artists signed to the Cyber-Gen music label, including YouTube stars TJ Beastboy, Young Mokuba, Wavvyboi and others, the tour played dates in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - and sold out in under 28 hours.
