The Monaco iGaming Exchanges, to be held in Monaco from 11 to 13 October 2010, has enhanced its conference program by adding an exclusive high level panel on the perspectives and evolution of the online gaming and betting market in the US.

PRG XL Video recently supported Production Manager Iain Whitehead and Production North with lighting, video and rigging services for The X Factor Live tour 2017. Stopping off at nineteen venues around the UK, the tour featured the stars of the 2016 series of the popular prime-time weekend television show.

XL Video once again contributed video production to The X Factor Live 2015 tour - six weeks around UK arenas showcasing the considerable talents of the 2014 X Factor TV series finalists - including popular runner up Fleur East and winner Ben Haenow.

In support of the sister release to 2019’s LP Inside The Rose, February saw the digital unveiling of These New Puritans’ (TNP) 19-track album, The Cut (2016-2019). Made up of new songs, orchestral interludes, reworkings and remixes of past material, the tracks were brought to life on stage with a captivating production design.

Indie rockers Alt-J’s new album “This is All Yours” rocketed straight to number one in the UK and number four on the US charts, and the band has embarked on an international tour in support of this second studio work, complete with a lighting and visual design by New York-based Jeremy Lechterman of Fragment Nine.

This year Germany's biggest electronic music festival was inspired to attract massive crowds, with more than 65,000 visitors attending Nature One.

For four days, top acts like Robin Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Sven Väth, Adam Beyer, Laidback Luke and Sander van Doorn played at the open air Pydna missile base in Kastellaun. In total over 350 DJs and live acts performed on 23 stages.

Lighting Designer Thomas Gerdon of GERDON design has again used an Elation Professional lighting package to light the German television program “Verstehen Sie Spass,” this time for two fall season shows. Gerdon employed Elation’s Platinum FLX™ and Platinum HFX™ hybrid moving heads to light artist performances and was also one of the first LDs anywhere to use Elation’s new Fuze Wash Z120™ LED wash light.

The FLX, HFX and Fuze lights were used on an October 26th show (recorded for a December 2nd broadcast), as well as on a live show that took place on October 29th, which had the best viewer ratings of any “Verstehen Sie Spass” show in five years. Lighting supply for both shows was by TV lighting production company Cape Cross Studio and Film Lighting of Cologne.

Czech rental company TD Promo supplied Robe moving lights for three popular Czech bands this spring – all of whom toured simultaneously throughout the Czech Republic with some shows also in Slovakia.

What better music to accompany the 41st World Chess Olympiad tournament than the soundtrack to Chess the musical? Under the direction of Andrew Eljas (who also wrote the original score to the music by Benny Anderson and Bjørn Ulvaeus), the performance included the Norwegian Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra along with a choir and ensemble of leading Norwegian musical performers. This full concert version of Chess demanded a massive audio system. The production tapped the power of three SSL Live consoles, supplied by Bary Sales AS in Oslo, to handle the inputs from the live band, choir and the Arctic Philharmonic. This application is among the largest implementations of SSL Live thus far.

Rhapsody in Rock is an annual series of live shows which combines classical and rock music, performed by a symphony orchestra alongside its founder - Swedish pianist Robert Wells - a contemporary band and vocalists. In March the production heads out on the second leg of its 25th anniversary tour, where three Yamaha CL5 digital mixing consoles will again provide their own Rock solid performance.

Music festival specialist Thunder Audio added another notch to its list of notable music events in October when the Livonia, Michigan-based company made its debut at the renowned Austin City Limits Music Festival. The event, which for the first time took take place over two weekends (October 4-6 and October 11-13), saw Thunder Audio set up a huge HARMAN JBL VTX line array system, powered by Crown I-Tech HD amplifiers.

Flamboyant ‘90s pop icons the Spice Girls’ 13-date summer stadium tour, Spice World – 2019 Tour, kicked off at Croke Park Dublin in May to culminate in June at Wembley Stadium (where else!), transforming 1990s nostalgia into 21^st century excitement as they went.

Within the vast sound production called upon for this year’s Eurovision2017 in Kyiv, a pair of TiMax SoundHub audio delay matrix units were supplied by Black Box Music (BBM) to manage multi-zone PA level and delay alignment between Main and B-stage performance areas.
The setup revisits a technique pioneered for Adele’s recent record-breaking world-wide arena tour. The TiMax SoundHub-S16 systems were inserted between Digico SD7’s and Lake master system processing feeding the amps, which in turn fed multiple distributed L’Acoustics line array hangs, subs and fills. 

Belgian based automation and engineering specialists Wicreations supplied specialist flying and movement system for the recent Reverze event staged simultaneously at Antwerp’s famous Sportpalais venue and the adjacent Lotto Arena, accommodating upwards of 20,000  hard dance music fans.
