Liverpool based Adlib designed and supplied lighting and sound equipment plus technicians for multi award-winning comedian Jack Whitehall’s massively successful in-the-round UK arena tour which culminated in 2 Wembley Arena shows and a finale at the London O2.

Interactive light technology group, Marshmallow Laser Feast (MLF), harnessed the sharp, high output features of 185 Clay Paky Sharpys to create a hard-hitting, high-impact real-time lightscape for U2’s latest music video, which launched the band’s new single ‘Invisible’ on 4th February.

Lighting designer Rob Sinclair has incorporated 87 of SGM’s new X-5 LED strobes into the set for the current Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour, which visits Europe in a few months’ time — and he has been relishing the experience of working with them.

OneRepublic’s headlining “Native Tour” wraps in the UK after spending last year circling the globe. The tour was programmed and operated from a grandMA2 light platform. The American pop rock band toured Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand last year in support of its third studio album, “Native.” OneRepublic’s tour has continued in 2014 with more dates in Europe and the UK.

At this year’s South By Southwest Music Festival held in Austin, TX, USA, Allen & Heath digital consoles were used to stream the experience live to millions of fans around the world. One of the world's largest music conferences with 100+ music venues, Allen & Heath mixers managed the Festival’s British Music Embassy, sponsored by the UK Trade and Investment Corporation, where over 40 UK bands played sets over a 5-day run, and BBC Radio streamed live to the UK for the first time, and the Dell Computer Fader Fort.

A State Of Trance (also known as ASOT) is the title of a weekly radio show hosted by prominent trance DJ and producer Armin van Buuren. The success of the show has also spawned several live dance events around the world. The show is celebrated live each year in different locations around the globe with a lineup of the most exciting trance artists, and recently took place at Utrecht in the Netherlands. This year the show (A State of Trance 650 – New Horizons) will be staged in eight more cities ranging from Moscow to Buenos Aires.

Leading lighting designer Jonny Gaskell chose Robe moving lights to be right at the centre of his design for the latest UK leg of BRIT Award winning band Rudimental’s ongoing tour.

This February saw Avolites technology at the heart of The Show: R&B Superstars Valentine's Special: a night of performances by a nostalgic line-up of 90s R&B legends at Wembley Arena in London.

HSL supplied lighting equipment and crew to the recent Avicii tour, once again working with Tour Director Curly Jobson and Production Manager Robin Scott following a successful collaboration for the Swedish House Mafia. West London based lighting and visuals rental company Colour Sound Experiment continued its working relationship with BRIT Award winning band Rudimental and their innovative Lighting Designer Jonny Gaskell on the most recent UK leg of their ongoing live campaign. Fresh from winning the 2014 BRIT Best British Single Award for ‘Waiting All Night’ the bands sold out tour included playing three consecutive nights at Brixton Academy.

Fans of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing are flocking to a 21 date live UK arena tour to see seven celebrity dancers and their professional partners show off their moves on stage. Four Yamaha digital mixers are ensuring that the sound is, as judge Craig Revel Horwood might put it, “Fab… u… LOUS!”

Lighting designer André Beekmans from Eindhoven, The Netherlands based creative lighting practice The Art of Light specified Robe ROBIN Pointes and ROBIN LEDBeam 100s to be a major visual feature of his stunning designs for the ‘A State of Trance’ 650 (ASOT) event, staged at the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, The Netherlands.

When the company’s owner mandates the use of its latest technology for its first major tour, you can be sure everyone involved, knowing his perfectionist approach, gives it their full attention and then some. Peter Gabriel’s Back to Front tour made full use of the new SSL Live consoles supplied by Britannia Row Productions for the first part of the tour in Sept/Oct 2013, and will continue to demand perfection from the console when the tour resumes in April 2014. Happily, the hard work paid off and artists, engineers and SSL’s design team were all thrilled with the results – as were audiences across Europe.
