Eurovision Song Contest reaches 195 Million Worldwide
“Join Us” was this year’s motto for the Eurovision Song Contest, which was hosted on Refshaleøen island in the B&W Hallerne, a former shipbuilding hall that was specially converted into a show arena for the contest. With the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, Refshaleøen was transformed into “Eurovision Island“, and played host to a colourful ensemble of artists and ESC fans and once again set new standards for production technology and as an eye opener.

Lawo leads The Pirates of the Caribbean into Strasbourg!
The Zenith de Strasbourg recently played host to a magnificent cine-concert of the first film of Disney’s hit Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Curse of The Black Pearl. The film was screened in front of 6000 people to the accompaniment of the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra complete with a 24-strong choir who brought Klaus Badelt’s magnificent soundtrack to life.

Avolites Ai S6 Server and Tiger Touch II Console Power 'LED Forest' at Sochi Olympics
The ambitious Closing Ceremony of Sochi's Winter Olympics was a "bright and emotive" event featuring 7,000 performers under an 'LED Forest of Light'. This was made up of 204 LED tubes, each one 12-metres high with a 360-degree viewing angle, and powered by an Avolites Ai S6 Server and Tiger Touch II console.

GLP X4's Dazzle Eurovision's Audience
Several hundred pieces of GLP impression X4 LED moving lights were specified by LD Kasper Lange on behalf of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation for use at the 59th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC2014) in Copenhagen. The venue for this year’s show was the spectacular B and W Hallerne at the Refshaleøen — a former ship’s wharf that has been transformed into a Eurovision Park.
