Q-Ball Cameras Capture DJ Team's Record-Breaking Comic Relief Broadcast

Six Camera Corps Q-Ball robotic heads were used to provide live coverage of a record-breaking BBC Radio 1 broadcast by Chris Moyles and Dave Vitty. Televised via the red button on digital BBC 1 and on the Radio 1 website, the presentation commenced at 5 am on Wednesday 16th March, surpassing Simon Mayo's 37-hour record for longest Radio 1 show on Thursday evening and continuing to a total 51 hours 30 minutes by 8.30 am on Friday 18th March.

grandMA2 shine at Univision’s “Premio lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina”

It was grandMA2’s night to sparkle en espanol. Lighting designer Carlos Colina who was responsible for Univision’s “Premio lo Nuestro ala Musica Latina” awards show, selected a pair of grandMA2 light consoles tocontrol approximately 400 fixtures illuminating the gala special. The 23rd annual show honored Latin artists chosen by fans in online and mobile phone voting. It aired live from Miami’s American Airlines Arena.

For German broadcasters ARD and ProSieben, the whole of May 2011 revolves around the European Song Contest (ESC). The lateral Signals for the EBU are produced with Stagetec Aurus audio mixers by ARD/ZDF at the international broadcast compound in Dusseldorf while the unilateral audio signals for ARD and ProSieben will be managed by outside broadcast units equipped with Lawo technology.
