While the awards ceremony took place live last night in Nashville (8pm EST on CBS / CBS All Access), some of the broadcast was being coordinated two thousand three hundred miles away in Oakland, California by Hugh Grew, a man whose broadcasting and production credentials include the biggest and most high-profile awards ceremonies on the planet.
