The current Take That Live 2015 tour, promoting the band’s seventh studio album, III, is the sixth major tour for which Brilliant Stages has constructed bespoke staging for the eternal boy band since the company first built a stage set for the band in 1994.

The fantastic weekend line-up was presented by two of the country’s leading electronic artists – Disclosure and Rudimental - both also main stage headliners.

Ayrton MagicDot™-R, one of the latest products from innovative French LED lighting manufacturer, Ayrton, made its US debut with Bruno Mars at Rock In Rio Las Vegas in May. Lighting designer Cory FitzGerald of Seven Design Works used a huge configuration of 184 of the new fixtures on the singer’s closing performance at this year’s festival which was hosted for the first time in the US. FitzGerald’s design also featured an array of 128 Ayrton IntelliPix™-R panels deployed as fascias fronting the stage-wide risers that backed Mars and his band.

Hundreds of Elation lighting fixtures were used again this year on Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, North America’s largest dance music festival, with the latest incarnation of the electronic rave taking place June 19-21 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Lighting supply companies Visions Lighting, AG Production Services, Felix Lighting and Pro Systems all supplied Elation gear to the Vegas version of EDC with many of this year’s awe-inspiring lighting and stage looks again by SJ Lighting.

Some 140 GLP impression X4 series fixtures were out in force at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest (ESC 2015) which took place at the 16,000 capacity Wiener Stadthalle in Austria. Experienced TV lighting director (and Emmy Award winner) Al Gurdon, was undertaking his third ESC (the 60th edition overall) with the aid of the X4 family, including the new X4 Bar 20 battens.

Lighting designer Preston Hoffman created a dynamic and flexible production lighting design for the 2015 Summer Camp Festival staged at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois, U.S.A. His stage, the Moonshine Stage, was based primarily around 16 x Robe BMFL Spots and 10 x Robe Pointe moving lights.

Allen & Heath’s modular iLive digital mixing system was employed to manage FOH for the recent production of Pete Townshend’s Classic Quadrophenia, taking place at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Melodifestivalen is Sweden’s national contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest, where their winner candidate is found. For the stage setup, lighting designer, Fredrik Jönsson implemented both X-5 strobes and P-5 wash lights. British creative lighting company, Okulus, have been appointed show and production designers for Zac Brown Band’s JEKYLL + HYDE 2015 North American Stadium tour.

Controllable LED specialist and design/manufacturing house Light Initiative (LI) is the creative force behind the bespoke LED structured screen on band of the moment Years and Years' UK tour and summer festival dates.

Engineering and automation specialist WIcreations designed and built the six moving video pods which are the major structural element of the current Herbert Grönemeyer tour, which features another innovative and interesting stage design by Gunther Hecker of Cue Design.

Over a 25-year musical career, Fito Cabrales has played to fans across the Spanish-speaking world and now his popular rock band Fito & Fitipaldis is out on the road again in support of their latest album “Huyendo conmigo de mi.” Lighting design is by well-known LD Luis Pastor, who has integrated into the set three eye-catching crosses of light made up of Elation Cuepix Panel RGB matrix luminaires. Following an initial winter leg in arenas and theaters, the band’s current summer tour is playing outdoor venues across Spain. Lighting, sound and visual equipment for the tour, including the Cuepix Panels, is being supplied by PRG of Spain.
