Jane Rein Joins ARRI INC. as Northeast Lighting Sales Manager
Rein is a veteran in the lighting industry with a strong background in still photography. As a devoted employee of Chimera for many years, Rein provided technical assistance to professional image makers. She recently represented Chimera, Dynalite (strobes) and Wolfram HMI lamps in the northeast territory of the U.S. Prior to her years at Chimera, she managed the photography facilities at Parsons School of Design and served as an instructor for color darkroom printing. This distinct, hands-on experience allows Rein to understand the special needs of film professionals, as well as photographers transitioning to continuous light sources.

NBN Television Continues Move into HD with SSL C10 HD Compact Broadcast Console
NBN Television (Newcastle Broadcasting New South Wales), recently completed the installation of an SSL C10 HD Compact Broadcast Console for use in its “On Air” news studio. As an independent affiliate of the Nine Network, NBN broadcasts its own local news, current affairs programming and sports, and the Nine Network line-up of Australian and international programs. NBN’s C10 HD is a 32+8-fader console with dual redundant power and processing that were critical for NBN’s one hour news broadcast.
