Leading digital service provider Pure Digital Services and digital film consultancy Light Illusion recently conducted a comprehensive demonstration of a complete ARRI Raw workflow at Annapurna Studios’ new state of the art Digital Intermediate facility in Hyderabad, India.

Owned by the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), RTR is one of Russia's media giants. Broadcasting nationwide, it operates a large number of regional studios, all of which are linked to the RTR headquarters in Moscow via a network. To further improve the workflow, RTR recently invested once again in equipment from RTS/TELEX, including several Cronus digital matrices and KP-32 keypanels. The installation was performed by RTS/TELEX's longtime partner Okno-TV.

The Ukrainian TV and Radio Broadcasting network Ukraine updated their communications infrastructure to a new Artist digital matrix intercom system from Riedel Communications. Riedel, one of the leading manufacturers of intercom, fiber, audio and radio technology delivered a comprehensive intercom solution combing a wired Artist matrix intercom setup with a wireless Acrobat digital communications solution. The Ukrainian systems integrator Comtel was responsible for the installation.

Benny Andersson's Riksmixningsverket (RMV) recording studio has chosen NTP DAD AX24 ultra-high-quality analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters for its newly completed premises on the Stockholm waterfront. Four NTP AX24 systems have been delivered. Each incorporates a PHD interface for Avid Pro Tools and will be  used in conjunction with a 64 channel Neve 8068 analog mixing console.

Last April, VSN signed a commercial agreement with the Bolivian company SEST (Systems, Equipment and Technology Solutions) to distribute its automation and digitization solutions for TV channels in this Latin American country. With the broadcast sector in Bolivia currently making the digital technology transition, both companies hope to undertake a commercial adventure together to cater for the needs of the different Bolivian TV channels.

Leading Spanish television facilities company, Telson, which transmits many headline digital TV channels across Europe from its base in Madrid has selected Axon to provide its TRACS multichannel compliance recording units. The equipment, which is supplied by Axon’s Spanish dealer, Promovisa, is being used to support Telson’s operations for one of the three biggest global family home entertainment companies.
