Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has supplied Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTV Slovenia), the national public broadcaster of Slovenia, with a solution for the transmission of high definition programming and events from around the country to its central studio in Ljubljana. RTV Slovenia’s TV services, which were launched in 1958, are available across the country on terrestrial, cable, satellite and IPTV networks. RTV Slovenia’s began HD broadcasts in February 2010 with coverage of the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
