The 18th and 19th June saw Overon provide comprehensive coverage of King Juan Carlos’ abdication and the coronation of the new King, Felipe VI. The company deployed extensive resources to meet the needs of the TV networks requesting broadcast services from a host of different sites in both Madrid and Palma de Majorca.

From the morning of the 22nd March, the day of the terrorist attacks at Zaventem Airport and Maelbeek underground station, Overon has provided comprehensive broadcast coverage of the breaking events from a host of key points in the Belgian capital. The first round of coverage was provided by equipment and staff from Overon’s base in Brussels and which kicked off barely two hours after the first bomb attack at the airport. Extra equipment was flown in from bases in Paris, Nice, Warsaw, Barcelona and Bilbao providing a total of 7 DSNG’s working simultaneously with 15 stand-up positions in place.

Overon sent 16 DSNG's and 1 fly- away, the bulk via ferry from Santander to Portsmouth, from a host of European sites last week to cover the general elections in the UK. A total of 24 people were involved in the project providing satellite, camera and production services.

The company covered the clearing of the square last Tuesday for a host of high profile international TV networks.
