Belgian commercial broadcaster vtm — owned by Vlaamse Media Maatschappij (VMMa) — is providing live coverage of its interview and analysis show "In het wiel van de Tour" during the 2010 Tour de France with DSNG units equipped for multi-camera operation and remote office functionality using Newtec's DualFlow™ modulator technology. DualFlow technology allows vtm's DSNG van to use satellite bandwidth both to transmit live coverage and for file-exchange over IP with the studio and the web using the same equipment.

The BBC chose Arqiva’s Occasional Use services to support their live ‘Crimewatch Roadshow’ series. Arqiva’s SNG/Production-facilities truck was used to film and uplink the live elements of the programme via Arqiva’s capacity on the W2A satellite.

The cinematographer, animal documentary maker and adventurer Andreas Kieling filmed polar bears in their natural environment in Spitsbergen for weeks. In the process, he successfully shot unique and amazing footage. The filming of the documentary north of the Arctic circle demanded high standards of man and technology.

ERTU, the Egyptian state broadcaster, has purchased a Quantel Enterprise sQ system to handle its entire news production needs as it transitions to HD operation. The order was placed with Quantel through Systems Design, the Egyptian SI that is managing the project for ERTU.
