Vimond Media Solutions announces that Marketing and Communications Director Henriette Saether will participate in a panel discussion at the Sports Video Group (SVG) Europe Football Production Summit in Paris on Wednesday, March 6 at 17:00. Vimond Media Solutions announced today that Finland's largest commercial broadcaster MTV3 will deploy VimondSPORTS, a web player developed by Vimond to create an online, interactive ice hockey experience for viewers. The ice hockey portal — one of the first for Finland's advanced WebTV market — will give MTV3 a new revenue stream and a new way to engage viewers, enabling it to take full advantage of its ice hockey broadcasting rights.

Viticulturists and wine lovers gathered remotely and online for the 2020 Vinari Awards, an annual celebration of the best in Catalan wines. Hosted by Vadevi in Vilafranca del Penedes, Catalan’s wine capital, the 2020 event transitioned to a hybrid in-person and virtual format to comply with COVID-19 restrictions. With event capacity reduced by one-third to adhere to safety protocols, the celebration of 900 wines from more than 200 regional wineries aired on broadcast television and live streams to reach remote audiences and wine connoisseurs. Production company Deunido LCC oversaw the virtual event and managed simultaneous broadcasts on national public station Televisió de Catalunya and regional broadcaster Cadena Pirenaica, in addition to streams on Facebook Live and YouTube, using a range of AJA streaming, conversion and I/O solutions.

Snell today announced that Vincent Eade has joined the company's European sales team as regional sales manager for the Nordics and Ireland. Reporting to Mark Gardner, sales director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Eade will be responsible for building Snell's sales presence and installed base throughout the Nordic region via direct customer relationships and distribution channel management.

Loré has worked in the broadcast and live production industry for the majority of his career. He spent over twenty years with Sony Professional doing ‘just about every job possible’ before becoming European Director of the Solutions & Services business unit. He then joined Video Media where he became CEO, helping to deliver large media and broadcast projects such as Chad’s national TV and radio broadcast facility in N'Djamena, the upgrade of France’s Canal+ factory to IP/UHD and the first OB trucks for the English Premier League in IP/4K. Loré lives in Versailles to the south west of Paris, and coming from a winemaking family in the Loire Valley he enjoys discovering new wines from around the world. He will work alongside Yvan Le Verge, our existing Regional Sales Manager, and our dedicated team of Solutions Architects and Technical Support experts.
